Specimen Requirements

Serum or plasma should be separated from cells within two hours of venipuncture. Submit one specimen, either serum or plasma. 

Container: red-top or green-top (heparin) tubes.

Gel-barrier tubes are not allowed and will cause the specimen to be rejected..
