Specimen Requirements

Specimen must arrive within 24 hours of collection.

Specimen collected in a syringe or red-top tube must arrive within 30 minutes of collection.

Specimen Type: Body fluid

Container: Green-top (lithium heparin), Lavender-top (EDTA) tube, syringe,  or red-top tube is also acceptable.

Specimen Volume: minimum 1 mL
