Collection Requirements

Specimen: Serum

Volume: 2.5 mL, minimum 1.0 mL

Container: Gel-barrier or red-top tube

Collection: Complete clot formation should take palce before centrifugation. Serum should be physically separated from cells as soon as possible with a maximum limit of two hours from time of collection. 

Ship specimen at refrigerated temperature.
