Container/Tube: Green top (lithium heparingel)
Specimen Volume: 1 mL
Collection Instructions:
1. Label specimen appropriately (plasma).
2. Spin down within 45 minutes of draw. Avoid prolonged contact
of plasma with separated red cells; or hemolyzed, icteric, or
lipemic specimen.

0-24 hours: 40-100 mg/dL
2 days: 74-106 mg/dL
Critical values (automatic call-back)
0-24 hours: 35 mg/dL or 400 mg/dL
