Specimen Requirements

Specimen must arrive in laboratory immediately after draw.

Specimen Type: Serum

Container/Tube: Two tubes, red top or serum gel

Specimen Volume: 2 mL

Specimen Minimum Volume: 1.5 mL

Collection Instructions: 

1. Date of draw is required.

2. Green-top (heparin) tube is not acceptable.

3. Collect two serum tubes.
