Specimen Type: Plasma. Container/Tube: Green top (lithium heparin gel). Specimen Volume: 1 mL. Collection Instructions:1. Plasma for a trough level must be drawn within 30 minutes prior to start of medication infusion. 2. Avoid hemolyzed, icteric, or lipemic specimen.
